Gather

Gather hope like wildflowers
fill up your arms and fill up your heart
for the days you need reminding
that even behind darkness, there still are stars
Gather sunlight throughout the day
to embrace you in your dreams
so when the world gets too heavy
you can lay it down and still rest easy
Gather love until it floods and overflows
and spills out of every word you speak
to tell you in those moments when you feel alone
