Quiet

Sometimes I’m quiet when I say my name but that doesn’t mean I have nothing to say
because a constellation of stars lives within my heart
I hold galaxies in my hands and reach them out to expand
the light around me so I can see just where I stand
I’m not lost, just making my own path
and planting seeds along the way to shade
to comfort and to create a place where people feel loved and safe
I was made to be a lighthouse calling through the waves
this quiet is where I find my strength
so I can make stars and seeds and a beautiful place
